This white garlic pizza is pure comfort with a gourmet twist. Instead of traditional tomato sauce, it’s layered with a rich, creamy garlic base that melts into the crust and creates the most indulgent bite. The mozzarella bubbles into golden perfection, while generous dollops of ricotta add a soft, creamy contrast in every slice.
Ingredients
For the Crust
- 1 ball store-bought pizza dough (8–10 oz)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt
For the Garlic Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan
- Pinch salt + black pepper
Toppings
- ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
- ¼ cup ricotta (small spoonful dollops)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (extra)
- Optional: sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or crispy bacon
- Red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Make the Garlic White Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat:
- Melt butter.
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds (don’t brown).
- Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Add Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Set aside to cool slightly (it thickens more as it cools).
2. Prep & Pre-Cook the Dough
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll dough slightly smaller than your basket.
- Brush lightly with olive oil.
- Air fry crust 3–4 minutes until lightly firm and just starting to color.
This prevents a soggy bottom
3. Build the Pizza
- Spread a thin layer of white garlic sauce.
- Add mozzarella evenly.
- Add ricotta in small spoonfuls.
- Sprinkle extra Parmesan.
- Add optional toppings.
4. Air Fry
Cook at 375°F for 5–7 minutes
Until:
- Cheese is bubbly
- Edges are golden
- Bottom is crisp
If you want extra browning, add 1–2 more minutes. Enjoy!
